I'm so grateful to be surrounded by so many great missionaries! We are all so different and yet are united in purpose!

We have weaknesses, as everyone does. We may not speak the language very well or be able to answer every question you have. But we have been called by a #prophet of #God to share what we know. We know that our message is true.

Our purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in #Jesus #Christ and His #Atonement, #repentance, #baptism, receiving the gift of the #HolyGhost, and enduring to the end.

Mom,

I love reading your emails!

By the way, here is my updated address:
1820 W. Lindner Ave.
Mesa, AZ 85202.

Thank you Bishop Clove for all the pictures!

Love you! All is well in Zion!

Sending Boyd off on November 20th, 2013 from the Cedar Rapids Airport to the Provo Missionary Training Center

I'm actually a zone leader! As soon as my branch president found out that this wasn't my first shindig away from home he was like, "AND HE SHALL LEAD THE PEOPLE!!!!" But like really, he did. Our district is made up of 4 Elders and 4 Sisters, and my zone comprises of two districts. We try very hard to keep up morale and encouraged everyone to write home every other day (at least). I've only sent one letter, and to Ina, because my responsibilities keep me away from my notebook. But we press on as servants of the Lord. I thought I knew doctrine before I arrived here; I have received revelation that I'm an idiot.

Right now I'm teaching a man who is about 50 and from Guatemala. I love everyone here, and the camaraderie is not unlike the Army. Pictures to come next week. :)

Letter From Arizona Mission:

Sister Toone and I wanted to let you know that Elder Haskell arrived safely.  Attached you will find two pictures that we thought you might enjoy: one is your missionary with Sister Toone and me, and the other is the group of missionaries with whom he arrived in the Arizona Tempe Mission
